Who we are

A marketing and communications specialist, Carrie has over 16 years’ experience in senior management roles in both HE and the independent school sectors. She has also worked for the NHS and Local Government, specialising in stakeholder engagement.


Working for the College of Social Sciences at University of Birmingham, she was responsible for marketing and communications at Birmingham Business School but also for the Health Services Management Centre, School of Economics, School of Education, School of Social Policy and Institution of Local Government Studies.


Carrie has demonstrable experience of planning and delivering tailored communications, marketing, brand and engagement projects at local and strategic level. An all-round communicator, Carrie has managed large teams, budgets and organisational change. She works across all channels and delivered training in a range of areas from social media to media skills. She  recently wrote the winning submission for the Times Education Supplement Senior Leadership Team of the Year award.


She is also a passionate gardener and features her outdoor exploits in Shropshire along with those of her dogs, Jack and Archie, on her Twitter feed @MrsCBennett.
