The Master's Playbook has launched!

Our new Sharing the Experience report: 'The Master’s Playbook: Building and Managing a Competitive Degree Portfolio' launches today at the Graduate Business Curriculum Roundtable Symposium at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.


One theme kept surfacing in our conversations: the best master’s programs don’t just chase demand — they balance it with purpose, expertise, and authenticity. As one portfolio leader told us, “We only create programs where there’s a match of supply and demand — and faculty who really burn for the topic.” That line really stuck with me.


My sincere thanks to the Roundtable for sponsoring the report, enabling us to share it free of charge throughout the business school community. I’m also deeply grateful to our 43 interviewees from 38 business schools across 10 countries for generously sharing their insights, ideas and tried and tested solutions with Mark Thomas, PhD , Gareth Howells, and me.
